Edith Tarbescu was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. She moved to CT and attended the Yale School of Drama as a playwriting
student. She's had plays produced in various regional theatres around the country as well as Off-Broadway, N.Y.
She's the author of four children's books and is currently working on a novel for adults titled "Four Wives."
Her latest play "Suffer Queen" had a staged reading at the Vortex Theatre, in ABQ, in October 2006.
